Description
The M200 is a 160W/8ohm and 300W/4ohm stereo amplifier. The M200 can operate as a fully balanced monoblock with a power output of 600W/8ohm and 930W/4ohm.
In the voltage amplification path, a NOS triode manufactured by Siemens from the 1960s onwards was used, which also underwent careful selection.
The previous stage uses fixed polarity, so it consists of a single valve, a resistor and a top-tier Mundorf silver and gold signal capacitor. This solution allows you to combine the shortest signal path with the best parameters.
Circle Power's current stages are the closest to the SE amplifier topology and maintain high efficiency and power. The detail and tone, characteristic of SE amplifiers, are combined with the bass control of high-efficiency amplifiers.
In the M200 current stages, the higher-current bipolar transistors produced by Sanken are multiplied. Thanks to this, the amplifier has even greater dynamics and loudspeaker control, and an ultra-wide frequency response. The power amplifier is built in a dual-mono topology and the power supply is based on transformers with a total power of 850W.
The toroidal transformers are separated for each channel and custom-built to our specification, using materials of the highest quality. In the section prior to the valve stage, a separate EI-core transformer with copper shielding and completely independent power supply paths for both channels are used.
The power amplifier power supplies use special capacitors adapted to work with high currents, with a capacity of 200,000 µF. The WBT nextgen series sockets are responsible for sending the signal to the speakers.
