Originally launched in 2013, the JA120s represent a modern evolution within the tradition of the French firm: handcrafted construction, point-to-point wiring, extremely high-quality output transformers and an architecture designed to deliver real power, stability and a profoundly natural listening experience.

Each stage delivers 100 W RMS, a very notable figure within the world of valve amplification, which allows them to be paired with a wide variety of loudspeaker enclosures, even those requiring greater control and dynamic headroom. The JA120s can work with different families of power valves, among them KT120, KT90, KT88, 6550, 6CA7 or EL34, which makes it possible to partially adapt the sound character of the set according to the user's preferences. The preamp and drive section uses valves ECC83/12AX7 y ECC82/12AU7, designed to preserve the integrity of the signal and deliver a musical, open and refined response. The output transformers, which come with a lifetime guarantee from Jadis, allow for impedance matching of 1 to 16 ohms, which makes it easy to integrate with different types of speakers.

The power transformer is oversized to improve thermal dissipation, reduce vibration and ensure stable current delivery. High-voltage filtering is carried out using high-capacity capacitors, while the cathode circuit features individual protective fuses.
