Moonriver Audio is proud to announce a new model, the 404 Reference integrated amplifier, which is the upgraded version of the standard model. Following the great success of The Moonriver Model 404 (Standard), the Reference version goes further, improving upon the already excellent design platform of the Standard 404 model. The shape, controls, ergonomics and design are similar, but the main difference is found at the heart of the amplifier: the power supplies.

The Moonriver 404 Reference is capable of driving most loudspeakers on the market to significant levels. The WBT nextgenTM speaker terminals ensure that the massive current flow from the amplifier output stage is able to handle even «difficult-to-drive» speakers. The 404 Reference chassis further reduces unwanted resonance vibrations with absorbing materials and improved comprehensive mechanical support. The Moonriver 404 Reference must be heard to fully savour its enhanced performance.
