Very pleased to have bought this amplifier; at low volumes it outperforms solid-state amplifiers costing 5,000 to 8,000 euros like a Gold Note IS-1000 or a McIntosh MA5300. At medium volumes it sounds very natural and powerful, although Jordi Savall's performance of Beethoven's 7th sounded a little bit strident to me, though that could be the CD, which is hybrid, and my player is standard. Anyway, in terms of value for money it's unbeatable.
