Description

El Circle Labs AS100 it's an integrated amplifier that revives a very valuable idea in high fidelity: doing few things, but doing them very well.

It does not incorporate a DAC, streaming, Bluetooth or phono stage. Its aim is more direct and audiophile: to amplify line-level signals with the utmost cleanliness, stability and musicality possible. It is, therefore, an integrated amplifier for anyone who already has good external sources and wants to build a serious system around solid, refined amplification with personality.

Its internal architecture is based on a construction dual mono, with separate power supplies for each channel. Volume control is carried out via a 63-step precision resistor ladder, controlled by high-quality relays. This solution offers greater precision, better channel balance, and greater long-term stability than a conventional potentiometer.

The AS100 uses proprietary technology Circle Power, developed by Circle Labs, combining transistors Burr-Brown J-FET ultra-low noise in the input stage with bipolar transistors in the output stage. The result is an amplifier with excellent dynamic capability, good loudspeaker control and an open, natural and balanced sound presentation.

Aesthetically, the AS100 maintains the classic identity of Circle Labs: a glass front panel, gold-toned metallic details, meticulous construction and an elegant presence, far removed from fleeting trends. It is a device with an artisanal feel, but with modern engineering on the inside.

In terms of sound, it stands out for an intimate, fluid and well-organised presentation. It does not seek to impress with artificiality, but rather to offer music with balance, body and naturalness. Firm bass, present midrange, clear treble and a coherent soundstage make the AS100 a particularly interesting proposition for the enthusiast who values prolonged, fatigue-free listening.

Circle Labs

Circle Labs products are the result of 25 years of research, careful design and a passion for perfect sound amplification. This arose from the need for a sound that could deliver the full experience of music to the listener without losing any of its charm, harmony or elegance. For years, Circle Labs has been producing and designing specialised devices dedicated to research in microbiology. Our equipment can be found in many cutting-edge scientific facilities in Poland and around the world. However, the company's builder and owner, Krzysztof Wilczyński, always had a great interest in audio devices. In 2019, the original Circle Power technology attracted the attention of leading Polish high-end audio equipment manufacturers, resulting in the birth of the reference monoblocks. That was the spark that ignited a fire of dynamic development for the company and the introduction of our products to a wider audience.
