Description
El Garlubidor Oceanus It is a power amplifier that relies on a classic and effective formula: solid construction, a balanced circuit, selected components and a clean, controlled and quiet sound delivery. It does not seek to attract attention with fireworks, but rather to do what a good amplifier should do: amplify with authority, preserve the signal and let the music breathe.
Its fully balanced architecture, SANKEN transistors, low-noise toroidal transformer and ELNA capacitors point to a product conceived with technical criteria. Its 80 watts per channel into 8 ohms y 150 watts into 4 ohms it places it in a very interesting zone for high-fidelity systems where muscle, precision and refinement are sought without entering exorbitant prices.
In short: a serious, honest and well-planned phase, the sort that don’t promise miracles, but which can become the quiet heart of a highly musical system.
Oceanus AMP
Fully balanced stereo power amplifier
El Oceanus AMP It is a power amplifier designed in accordance with classic hi-fi principles: a fully balanced architecture, tried-and-tested components and technical craftsmanship focused on authentic sound, rather than artificial effects.
Its balanced circuit in a bridged configuration, together with SANKEN power transistors and a carefully chosen power supply with low-noise toroidal transformer y ELNA audio-grade capacitors, garantiza una amplificación limpia, estable y con una separación de canales sobresaliente.
El resultado es una escena amplia, silenciosa y precisa, con un fondo negro que permite apreciar los más pequeños matices musicales.
Delivery 80 W per channel at 8 ohms y 150 W per channel at 4 ohms, a perfectly usable power output capable of comfortably driving the vast majority of loudspeakers on the market, from demanding monitors to floorstanders. The bass is firm and controlled, vocals appear natural and present, and the treble extends with clarity, free from harshness or fatigue.
On a technical level, it stands out for its very low distortion (0.002 %), a signal-to-noise ratio of 120 dB and one extended frequency response from 10 Hz to 78 kHz, figures that translate into transparency, dynamism and the absence of noise, even at low volumes.
The Oceanus AMP features balanced XLR input, high-conductivity output terminals specifically designed for complex loads, comprehensive protection against overloads, short circuits, temperature and DC, and automatic voltage selection, making it reliable and suitable for any market. It is easy to use, with a front-mounted standby button, LED indicators and an infrared remote control.
A reliable, robust and well-built power amplifier, designed for those looking for music, control and long-term reliability,

Rodofo Amancio (verified owner) –
The Oceanus Garlubidor has been a genuine surprise in my system (ahead of valve gear and high-end speakers), and I do not say that lightly. There is serious craftsmanship behind this: from the very first minutes you notice a weighty, substantial sound presentation, with that feeling that the music doesn’t just “play”, but materialises.
R2R architecture once again demonstrates why it still makes so much sense when properly implemented: the Oceanus offers organic naturalness, with no trace of digital artifice, and a texture in voices and instruments that invites you to listen to full albums without fatigue. No false brightness or affected hyper-definition. Here there is coherence, continuity and, above all, music.
The soundstage is another of its strong points: expansive, deep and very well structured. It is not just big, it is believable. Each layer is well placed, with space between instruments, and with a three-dimensionality that is more reminiscent of a good analogue source than a conventional DAC. On well-made recordings, the sense of the room is frankly remarkable.
As for the bass, it surprises with its authority and control. It doesn't intrude, it doesn't muddy the sound, but it's there when it needs to be, providing a solid foundation that gives body to the whole. And the treble... clean, extended, but always under control. No stridency, no fatigue.
Technical advice:
To get the most out of it, it is best to work with the DAC at a high output level (maximum or close to it), especially if it is connected to a dedicated preamplifier. Furthermore, if you use a streamer, it is advisable to avoid unnecessary clock or DSP manipulations: the Oceanus benefits from a signal that is as pure as possible.
And as always, a sincere thank you to the Lyric Audio team: approachable, honest advice without any fuss, and fast, perfectly protected shipping. That's how it should be done.
A serious, well-made product that puts music where it should be: at the centre.
