In the audiophile world, there is a purist group that fights for simplicity in valve amplification systems by focusing on the use of valves designed in the early days of valve technology: directly heated triodes, of which the most famous is the 300B.

I300 is built around a simple 300B push-pull with no feedback that delivers the unrivalled musicality of this valve.

After preamplification with an ECC82, the signal feeds a phase splitter (called a Schmitt) followed by 6SN7 triodes sufficient to drive the 300B.

The power supply is another strong point. In addition to the fact that each stage has its own power supply, special care has been taken with the 300Bs themselves.

As directly heated triodes, the heater is the cathode. This requires a very «clean» power supply with no less than seven separate power circuits.

Like all our devices, the transformers are designed and manufactured in our workshop. The power supply transformer uses an EI M6X custom-designed magnetic circuit, which gives it very stable operation, without noise and with reduced overheating.

The output transformers use a dual CV38 magnetic circuit built to our standards. The I300 is the only integrated amplifier with an output transformer of this type.

A design mode that makes the device seem much more powerful than its 10W might suggest!

In terms of design, the I300 stays true to our range and features a compact design. The 2 mm thick 304L chassis easily supports the weight of the other components. For greater ease of use, it is equipped with a remote control.
