Unique and advanced designs
FOUR independent 25 MHz and 10 MHz word clocks with gold-plated output connectors housed in a single optimised chassis.
Each clock unit includes its own TCXO clock and circuitry to eliminate potential signal interference.
The class-leading radar-grade switched-mode power supply module, an exclusive technology for noise-sensitive acoustic equipment, provides a stable, low-noise power supply.
TCXO (temperature-compensated crystal oscillator) clock circuits significantly reduce network latency issues and jitter effects.

Advanced options for serious audiophiles
The 12 V DC power connector bypasses Genesis's internal switch-mode power module, allowing connection to an external linear power supply (such as our Forester F2) for a significant performance upgrade.
The gold-plated earth terminal offers the possibility of further reducing noise.

Manufactured from high-purity solid stainless steel, Silent Angel’s resonance-control feet dampen mechanical energy from internal and external sources, reducing mechanical and electrical noise, static electricity, etc. A more capable version of our acclaimed S28 foot, the result is improved dynamics, lower background noise and greater resolution of fine details.

25 MHz: born for audio excellence
10 MHz is currently the most common Word Clock frequency; however, this frequency was originally chosen for GPS equipment and was not optimised for audio. Following extensive testing, our R&D team discovered that the ideal frequency for audio devices and networks is 25 MHz. Silent Angel created the Genesis GX with a single aim: to deliver the best possible audio quality. The Genesis GX provides 25 MHz and 10 MHz clock outputs to ensure it performs exceptionally well with Silent Angel products and those of other brands. Better than «integrated»
Compared to “standalone” word clocks, integrated word clocks share system resources (power supplies, etc.) with other components, all interconnected on the same circuit board. There are many situations that will interfere with the clock signal, such as electrical pulses caused by changes in system load, interference with other electronic components, mains noise, and jitter effects caused by the system. That is why an independent clock source is essential: less interference in the clock source guarantees the purest possible clock signal.

Proprietary TCXO clock modules: Silent Angel’s TCXO (temperature-compensated crystal oscillator) is more accurate and stable than the crystal clocks found in competitors’ products, thereby reducing latency issues and the effects of fluctuation.
