The Forester F2 model adopts Silent Angel's power stabilisation technology. Housed in an elegant metal casing with solid and thick aluminium alloy front and rear panels (8 mm), it is designed to reduce potential machine vibration and noise. The top and bottom are made of high-quality SECC galvanised steel, which is highly anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion. AC power flows through the toroidal transformer with high-quality power management and fast response time MOSFET components. In this way, extremely stable DC power with ultra-low voltage fluctuation is supplied to the connected devices.

Multiple outputs
F2 employs multiple DC outputs, including 12V/3A, 12V/1A, 5V/2A and 5V/1A, with the option of connecting to USB ports. An ideal solution for upgrading the power supply of your HiFi streaming network for the following models:

12 V (the maximum power output budget is 36 W):

• Can 12V/3A power Z1
• 12V/1A can power E1 / N8 Pro

5 V (the maximum power output budget is 10 W):

• 5V/2A can power M1 / M1T
• 5V/1A can power N8, etc.

By having an upgraded stable power supply, your device's clock module will be able to perform extremely precise operations, allow network data packets to be transmitted at precise times, and reduce potential jitter and latency. Recommended application and configuration

1. The compact setup:
Connect and turn on the transmitter, switch and storage expansion (independently powered).

• Streamer, Munich M1 (or M1T): 5V-2A port
• Network switch, Bonn N8 : 5V-1A port
• Storage expansion, E1 expander: 12V-1A port
• Use different DC cables (use the Bastei series, the 5V and 12V ones respectively)

2. A further update for the HiFi Ethernet network:

F2 is an excellent premium option to further enhance the power of the Bonn N8 Pro, an advanced audiophile network switch.

• Simply connect the DC power port of the N8 Pro switch (labelled «External 12V DC input») to the 12V-1A port of the F2 to obtain a stable power supply.
• Use different DC cables (use the Bastei series, the 5V and 12V ones respectively)

3. Turning on the HiFi NAS:

Roon Core Server / HiFi NAS, plus an upgraded external power supply.

F2 is capable of stably powering both the Rhein Z1 and Expander E1 at the same time.

• Music server (capable of running Roon Core and Bridge), Rhein Z1 : 12V-3A port.
• Storage expansion (with 8TB and 10TB storage options), E1 Expander: 12V-1A port.
