It has been done by comparing it with the Ladder Bach preamplifier, whose price is 1300 euros after customs and VAT, an R2R preamplifier.
The burning-in has been carried out for 300 hours, a radio via its RCA output to the preamplifier.
The Summit wins hands down on customer service, there is no comparison.
The construction of the Ladder Bach is slightly superior to that of the Summit.
Its four RCA inputs and one XLR are fully well-served in terms of inputs; let's be serious, nobody has their equipment more than two metres away to need all XLR inputs and notice the difference from an RCA input. The Ladder Bach has two XLRs and one RCA, so more inputs for the Summit, which is why it also comes out victorious.
The Ladder has a screen, which the Summit doesn't, that shows the input and volume, providing information, but it introduces electrical noise.
The Summit's remote control is better, what's more, the Ladder's one has to be bought separately, in operation they are similar.
The important thing is the sound. The Summit gets closer to perfection in terms of transparency, with no identifiable sound signature. Its dynamic range is also at the highest level, with astonishing volume control, featuring a slightly wider and, indeed, deeper soundstage. Those looking for a high-performance preamplifier with the best service only have one name on their list: the Lyritech Summit.
That said, I recommend doing more than the 200 hours of break-in.
Best regards.

Sure! Here is a review as a satisfied customer of the Lyritech Summir line preamplifier, purchased at Lyric Audio:
«I am really impressed with the Lyritech Summir. From the very first moment, I noticed how it elevated my audio system to another level. The clarity, the precision in the details, and the warmth of the sound are exceptional. Every component seems to be perfectly designed to offer a high-fidelity listening experience like no other. Furthermore, the design is elegant and robust, ideal for any space dedicated to audio.
I would also like to highlight Lyric Audio's customer service: they answered all my queries quickly and the delivery was faultless. Without a doubt, I would recommend this line preamp to any audiophile looking for uncompromising premium quality. A perfect purchase!»

It has become the heart of my setup, both because of its build quality and connection flexibility, and for the magnificent sound it has brought out in my system.
I couldn't believe that the sound had improved again, because I have two integrated amplifiers that don't need a preamplifier, which is why I was so incredulous, but it does sound better. I've gained a little in the soundstage (already very wide in my case), where I've noticed the change most is in more controlled and slightly more present low frequencies, the midrange is clearer and above all the highs are more detailed and clearer. What does all this translate to: well, I perceive musical instruments more clearly and it's easier for me to place them in the soundstage. My system has clearly improved in terms of sound, and also in connectivity thanks to its four RCA inputs and the XLR (I have a Cayin CS100DAP), and its two outputs: RCA and XLR.
I have this preamplifier connected to the following components:
Amplifier: Cayin CS55A via RCA and a Xindak 6800 via XLR.
Phono Preamp: Pinnacle Plus,
Sources: Pro-Ject X8 SE turntable, Cayin CS100DAP digital player (connected via XLR) and PrimaLuna CD Prologue.
Loudspeakers: Lyrictech Moonriver 8.

I recently bought this preamplifier because I wanted to check if it improved a setup consisting of an SMSL SU10 DAC and KALI IN8 active speakers, along with a GUSTARD H16 headphone amplifier that was acting as a preamplifier.
Well I must say YES, it has improved all the sound coming out of my hi-fi system, and not by a small amount but decisively, many thanks to LYRIC for a very satisfactory purchase.
