LHY Audio LPS-A8 – Linear Power Supply for Eversolo DMP-A8

The LHY Audio LPS-A8 it is an internal linear power supply developed specifically to improve the performance of the Eversolo DMP-A8.

This module replaces the player's original switched-mode power supply with a very low noise linear power supply, designed specifically to provide cleaner and more stable current to its digital and analogue circuits, substantially improving its performance.

Why switch to a linear power supply for the Eversolo DMP-A8?

Music is the art of electricity. The stock switched-mode power supply of the Eversolo A8 can limit the full potential of your audio system. The LPS-A8 linear power supply module is custom-designed for the A8 player and delivers a transformative improvement:

Ultra-low noise: noise levels of less than 10 μV (at rest) and 30 μV (under load) —100 times lower than those of the original power supply—, which translates into a blacker background, richer detail and improved dynamics.
Remove system interference: reduces electrical interference in other connected devices, improving the overall purity of the system.
High-end components: it features a triple-shielded toroidal transformer, two ultra-low noise LT3042 regulators and stability superior to that of switched-mode power supplies.
Plug-and-play self-assembly upgrade: It costs less than a high-end power cable, requires no structural modifications, and includes all the tools necessary for simple installation or reversal.

Reversible, solder-free installation

The installation requires no welding, drilling, or permanent modifications to the chassis. The module is placed in the position occupied by the original switch-mode power supply, using the existing fixing points and connections.

The kit includes the necessary tools, cables and accessories. The original power supply can be kept to return the device to its initial configuration if required.

However, the installation requires opening the Eversolo and handling its internal components. For this reason, we recommend that it is carried out by a qualified technician.
