The LHY Audio LPS-A6 MKII it is a high-performance linear power supply designed specifically to improve the power supply of the First-generation Eversolo DMP-A6, in both its Standard and Master Edition versions.

This comprehensive module replaces the switched-mode power supply originally installed in the player with a linear solution specially developed for digital audio applications. Its design employs a toroidal transformer 30 VA Noratel, ultralinear regulation by LT3042 + PNP and silver internal wiring.

The result is a considerably cleaner, more stable and quieter power supply, with a lower presence of electromagnetic interference, radio frequency noise and residual ripple. In a high-resolution system, this improvement can translate into a quieter background, greater definition, better instrument separation and a more natural and orderly musical presentation.

A power supply worthy of the DMP-A6

The digital circuits, the clock, the processing section and the analogue stages of the Eversolo depend directly on the quality of its power supply. The LPS-A6 MKII supplies direct current with low noise, rapid response to changes in demand and excellent voltage stability.

According to measurements published by Beatechnik, performed with an Audio Precision APx525 and a 1-ampere load, the original switched-mode power supply achieves a noise level of 679.2 µV RMS, whereas the LPS-A6 reduces it to 56,68 µV RMS. Biotechnic

Clean and seamless integration

The LPS-A6 MKII is installed inside the Eversolo itself, maintaining its original exterior appearance and avoiding the need to use an additional power supply on the unit's stand. The kit is designed for a clean integration and requires no soldering.

Installation involves opening and modifying the player, so we recommend that it be carried out by a qualified technician or a person with experience in electronics. The modification may void the original Eversolo warranty.
