The volume is not controlled here by a simple potentiometer, but by the acclaimed MUSES 72320, a precision electronic control system used in reference equipment. This system utilises matched resistors with extremely tight tolerances, providing smooth, progressive and completely silent level adjustment.
All the circuitry is traced on a 0.2 µm gold-plated plate, with large soldering areas and additional shielding that reduce interference and background noise to almost negligible levels. The engineers at Kinki Studio have spared no expense or materials: the priority has been the electrical and mechanical excellence, not budget containment.
At its heart are two independent power modules mounted on solid aluminium heat sinks with a gold finish. Each module uses MOSFET EXICON working in class AB, delivering 215 W RMS into 8 Ω —a figure which, beyond the technical aspects, translates into absolute control, genuine dynamism and a sense of authority that is unusual in this category.
