Kinki Studio EX-B7 – Uncompromised Monophony
In the world of high fidelity there are amplifiers that impress, and then there are those that They command respect. The Kinki Studio EX-B7 belongs to this latter category: a monophonic block that condenses the brand's purist philosophy into a concentrated, powerful and absolutely silent form.
Conceived as the culmination of the EX series, the EX-B7 represents the audiophile ideal taken to its ultimate expression. Each monoblock houses two toroidal transformers of 450 VA each and a large-capacity capacitor bank, feeding an output stage with four pairs of lateral EXICON MOSFETs.
All of this arranged on a 0.2 µm gold-plated plate, with extensive soldering areas and additional shielding to minimise losses and interference.
The construction is as sober as it is imposing: gold anodised aluminium heatsinks, short internal wiring and a totally true dual mono, even within the monobloc itself. The result is an amplifier with exceptional energy reserves and thermal stability, capable of maintaining tonal coherence and transparency even in the most demanding passages.
The EX-B7 has been designed to mission-critical systems and difficult loudspeakers, the sort that put the patience and technical capabilities of any conventional amplifier to the test. There are no limitations here. Its extremely high damping factor, its slew rate (200 V/μs) and its instantaneous current delivery allow absolute control of the loudspeaker, making the music breathe with freedom and authority.
But power isn’t its only selling point. What sets the EX-B7 apart is its tonal balance: a deep and firm bass, a midrange of great purity, and extended, smooth, and natural highs. Its sound signature retains the neutrality and elegance of the EX-M1, but adds an even greater dynamic range and sense of space. It sounds effortless, with a physical, three-dimensional presence that only great monophonics achieve.
Kinki Studio does not play the game of exaggerated numbers: its 250 W into 8 Ω (and 380 W into 4 Ω) they are conservative, measured with honesty. The important thing is not how much he declares, but how it sounds, and there the EX-B7 achieves levels of naturalness and realism that place it among the great amplifiers on the market, at a fraction of their price.

Recién incorporadas al sistema dos etapas monoblock Kinki Studio EX B7 para mover en su máxima expresión las Opera Grand Callas.
El sonido de las cajas ha pasado a otro nivel de resolución, dinámica e incluso imagen estéreo, muy contento con el upgrade.
En su rango de precio creo que son las mejores monofónicas del mercado.

Tras incorporar al sistema un conjunto de etapas monoblock Kinki Studio EX-B7, el cambio ha sido inmediato y profundo. La sensación general es de un control absoluto, con un salto muy notable en resolución, capacidad dinámica y claridad global. La escena sonora se abre con mayor naturalidad, las capas se ordenan mejor y la música gana en presencia y autoridad, incluso a volúmenes moderados.
Lo más destacable es esa mezcla poco común de potencia, refinamiento y coherencia, que permite escuchar durante horas sin fatiga, pero con una sensación constante de precisión y energía contenida. El sistema respira mejor, los transitorios son más rápidos y el grave adquiere una firmeza y definición que antes no estaban ahí.
Después de convivir con ellas, tengo claro que han llegado para quedarse.
