Description

The P300 preamplifier features a fully balanced design.

The creation of the P300 was inspired by the idea of a truly neutral preamplifier with the shortest possible signal path. Internal wiring was strictly limited. It was designed around the newest JFET and BJT transistor types and uses a patented Circle Amp topology.

The volume is controlled by a relay-operated resistor ladder and offers a 63-step resolution. An aluminium remote control is supplied. We designed a specially constructed low-noise power supply based on two independent channel transformers with LL cores and Elma SILMIC II capacitors. The power supply has two cascaded stabilisation stages.

The stabilisers use an LED array as a reference current source, characterised by notably lower noise than traditional combined Zener diodes.

The 5754 aluminium casing with a frieze finish is manufactured using digital CNC machines.
