Description

The A 88 Pro is a KT88 tube amplifier distinguished by its handmade construction featuring the finest point-to-point wiring. It incorporates two EI output transformers with a wide bandwidth and a specially designed toroidal power transformer. It uses two 6SL7 and two 6SN7 tubes in the preamplification stage, along with four KT88/6550EH tubes for push-pull AB1 amplification. This model allows selection between Triode and Ultralinear modes, thus offering flexibility in sound quality according to the user's preferences.

Its standout features include an accessible external bias adjustment with a BIAS meter for monitoring on the top of the amplifier, an external tube selection switch between EL34 and KT88 for easy tube replacement, and it comes equipped with a remote control. Furthermore, the A 88 Pro features a soft-start function (approximately 30 seconds) and can memorise the last operation once switched off, enhancing convenience and ease of use.
