Description
TWO SETS OF OUTPUT TUBES: 6L6GC(5881) TUBES AND OPTIONAL 6CA7(EL34).
By changing two switches inside the cabinet, you can use either 6L6GC or 6CA7 (EL34) tubes, and the LED indicators on the front panel will show you which tube is in use.
DIRECT SWITCHING POWER AMPLIFIER AND INPUTS.
The «PREAMP-IN» terminals on the rear panel allow the CS-600 to be used as a power amplifier.
By activating a selector on the front panel, all functions can be bypassed, except for the volume control.
A WIDE RANGE OF SPEAKER APPLICATIONS
Multiple output impedance selector: 4/6/8/16 ohms.
FLAT AND WIDE FREQUENCY RESPONSE
A wide and flat frequency response of up to 100 kHz it is sufficient for future digital audio formats such as SACD/HDCD.

From my point of view and experience, I consider the Leben CS600X to be an amplifier that goes far beyond simply delivering good sound. It is an amplifier crafted with care, featuring a vintage look and premium finishes. Its structure and materials are of great quality, the knobs and potentiometers turn smoothly, and the tactile feel is very good. The quality wood on its sides, the circuitry, the wiring—everything is of sublime quality. It has me astounded; paired with my ProAc D20R speakers, they provide a splendid soundstage and spatiality.
What has struck me most is the transparency, neutrality and the soundstage. It is true that it is reminiscent of a solid-state amplifier even though it is valve-driven, its crystal-clear and analytical sound brings this to mind, yet it still delivers that sweet and creamy touch of the valve in acoustic scenes with few instruments, along with surprising dynamics when called upon in complex moments with large orchestras. The bass is defined and controlled, the midrange very rich and crisp, with highly detailed treble. The headphone output is of very high quality; it is an amplifier that lets you forget about the system and just enjoy the music as it is. Versatile in its choice of valves, as well as in its settings. Without a doubt, a piece of craftsmanship by our friend Taku Hoyodo, one of the top 8 valve engineers in Japan.
