Silent Angel Rhein Z1

Description

The audio source is crucial for a healthy high-fidelity audio system, to process high-resolution music data, to integrate other audio equipment; to maintain the essence of the music, the Rhein Z1 is qualified to fulfil all those audio tasks and can be a Roon Core to serve the multi-room system, optimised by its operating system, VitOS.
– Expert thermal solution to reduce interference
The CNC-machined chassis is ingeniously made from aerospace-grade industrial aluminium alloy, featuring a fanless design and utilizing the entire top casing as a CPU heatsink.

As solid as a musical fortress, as exquisite as true craftsmanship, the fanless design produces no mechanical noise, and the use of the full-cover top panel as a CPU heat sink can reduce thermal noise by 15 % – the result is a silent angel for your ultimate musical experience.

– Purpose-built main board
Dedicated circuit for audio use
- Low-noise technique and shorter transmission path for high-quality music reproduction, featuring smoother and purer music processing.
– Ultra-low CPU power consumption (around 6 W) to reduce electrical noise from the main processor and make signal transmission more stable.

High-permeability EMI absorber
– Adopt a specially chosen integrated EMI absorber to eliminate high-frequency electrical noise from 1 MHz to 100 MHz in internal digital circuits and components, including DRAM, CPU, etc.

– Exclusive audio-grade SSD
Noise reduction and signal optimisation
– Supports dual SSDs, whilst the use of low-power M.2 SATA SSDs can reduce electrical noise on the power rail.
– The new internal storage board provides a dedicated SSD power supply, which significantly reduces the SATA signal transmission path to just 2 cm.

Customised applications
– 250 GB specialised SSD for the system drive; 1 TB and 2 TB specialised SSDs for data storage; up to two simultaneous zones for multi-room streaming applications; can also function as a NAS (network-attached storage).

– Home audio system core
The audio source is vital to an advanced digital transmission system.

With its audio expertise and powerful operating system, not only the internal designs, but also the external applications, the Rhein Z1 can present the true essence of audio in a large-scale home audio system.
– Like a Roon Core
Featuring the highly efficient VitOS operating system, it functions as a Roon Core server to deliver the very best in high-definition music streaming.

Rhein Z1 can function as a Roon Core server to optimise the digital streaming experience and serve multi-room audio setups, all to maximise sound enjoyment and immerse you in a home concert.
– Optimal audio integration
As an exceptional music server to work with other audio devices to optimise sound enjoyment.

By adopting a 1000 Mbps Ethernet interface, you can easily connect it to an audio switch or a NAS, also equipped with a high-sampling-rate USB audio port to connect to an external DAC for processing high-resolution music data.
-VitOS-
Audio operating system designed for music servers that focuses on high-fidelity streaming services.

VitOS improves machine efficiency, performance stability and network latency.
