El LHY Audio UIP It is designed to improve the USB connection between a computer, streamer, music server or mobile device and a DAC. Its advanced architecture electrically isolates both devices, preventing noise generated by the digital source from reaching the DAC's delicate conversion stages.

Unlike a simple USB filter, the UIP performs three fundamental functions: galvanic isolation, power regeneration and digital signal reclocking. The result is a cleaner and more stable USB transmission, free from earth loops, interference, and high-frequency electrical noise.

Inside, it uses the advanced isolation chip Analog Devices ADuM4165, compatible with High Speed USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps and capable of handling signals of up to 768 kHz PCM and DSD512. Four independent ultra-low noise linear power supply lines separately supply power to the isolation, clock, and USB output.

The clock system incorporates an oscillator High-precision SC-cut OCXO and a low phase-noise PLL circuit, responsible for stabilising and re-timing the USB signal. Furthermore, its BNC input allows you to optionally connect an external 10 MHz master clock to further elevate the performance of the system.

The internal power supply is especially carefully designed, featuring a Talema encapsulated transformer, EMI/RFI filtering, high-speed rectification and ultra-low noise LT3042 regulators. All of this is housed in a solid CNC-machined aluminium chassis, which provides protection against interference and mechanical resonances.

Its installation is very simple: it is placed between the digital source and the DAC, with no need for drivers or special configuration. It is compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, Raspberry Pi, Android and iOS via the corresponding OTG adapter.
