Gustard U26 it is a high-end digital-to-digital converter (DDC), designed for those who aren't satisfied with “plug and play”, but instead seek to extract the maximum real performance from their DAC. Signed by Gustard, this model acts as a genuine precision bridge between your digital source and the converter, cleaning, reclocking and reorganising the signal before it reaches the DAC.
In practice, the U26 doesn’t “add” anything artificial: it does the exact opposite. It reduces jitter, stabilises the digital clock and delivers a much tidier, solid and coherent signal.
