Our D-750 digital coaxial cable is an ultra-low loss digital coaxial cable, designed to deliver precise 75-ohm signal transmission. This cable is an excellent solution for connecting the digital output of a transmitter or transport device to a DAC. Its various features make it superior for digital audio.

A solid silver-plated central conductor is used to maintain a more uniform impedance. A solid conductor minimises signal reflections, a crucial feature for the accurate transmission of digital data. This central conductor is coated with DH Labs' proprietary Air-PTFE Matrix dielectric, with a surprisingly low dielectric constant of 1.4. This material offers the lowest loss and the most uniform attenuation-versus-frequency curve of any dielectric material.

A solid pure copper centre conductor coated in silver is used to maintain the most uniform impedance. A solid conductor minimises signal reflections, a crucial feature for the precise transmission of digital data. The conductor is coated with DH Labs' proprietary Air-PTFE Matrix dielectric, with a surprisingly low dielectric constant of 1.4. The result is the lowest loss and the most uniform attenuation-versus-frequency curve of any dielectric material.

Noise rejection is maximised by a two-layer shield. This provides 100 % coverage for total noise immunity. The combination of an aluminium-Mylar shield and a coarse mesh keeps the earth resistance as low as possible. The mesh is wound with precision and under carefully controlled tension to minimise the phenomenon known as «ROE spikes», more commonly known as jitter.

The result of these efforts is a cable that delivers precise signal transmission with an optimal balance and superior dynamics beyond 2 gigahertz. The D-750 is hand-finished with our corresponding RCA-750 coaxial connector. For optimum performance, 75-ohm BNC connectors are also available.
