El Cayin Soul 170C es un preamplificador totalmente a válvulas concebido para puristas del sonido analógico. Su arquitectura — completamente cableada punto a punto, con transformadores de alimentación toroidales hechos a mano, chasis de aluminio macizo y paneles laterales de nogal — refleja la filosofía clásica de construcción de “alta fidelidad de verdad”, donde cada detalle cuenta.

La señal recorre una cadena de ocho válvulas cuidadosamente seleccionadas (ECC83, 6SN7GTB, 6CA7 y 17AX4GT), lo que permite una amplificación limpia, dinámica y con la calidez propia del tubo, manteniendo un suelo sonoro silencioso gracias a una relación señal/ruido de 100 dB.
