Description
Cayin iHA-6, achieve maximum detail
The Cayin iHA-6 is a headphone amplifier that stands out for its balanced outputs, designed to achieve the maximum level of detail for the most demanding headphones.
Within its interface, you will find balanced XLR inputs, RCA stereo inputs, two balanced headphone outputs, and two 6.35mm outputs for headphones of different impedances and sensitivities.
Thus, this Cayin iHA-6 arrives ready to break the mould at a very modest price.
The amplifier that adapts to you
The Cayin iHA-6 adapts to all contexts and situations regardless of the headphones you are going to use.
Inside, it features a four-channel amplifier circuit that achieves unrivalled power and also allows you to select the current level at which you want to operate the amplifier.
The high-current output power is 1100mW + 1100mW, whereas via the balanced output it reaches up to 5000mW + 5000mW with this configuration.
If on the other hand we prefer to reduce the current transmission, we will reach 2200mW + 2200mW in normal output, and up to 7000mW + 7000mW balanced.
Thus, the Cayin iHA-6 demonstrates its versatility without losing an iota of power.
With independent power supplies
The power supplies of the iHA-6 are independent for the left and right channels, which will help make sound transmission more faithful as interference between channels is reduced to a minimum.
Headphone outputs for all tastes
The Cayin iHA-6 integrates up to four sets of headphone outputs, with the intention of squeezing the absolute most out of the amplifier.
To begin with, we find two 6.3mm outputs adapted for high and low impedance headphones respectively, a balanced 3-pin XLR output, and a balanced 4-pin XLR output.
As a result, this iHA-6 is capable of driving the most demanding headphones and filling your ears with power.
Regarding audio inputs, the Cayin iHA-6 features a single-ended RCA and a balanced XLR input.
A peerless appearance
Top-tier design comes together in the Cayin iHA-6 thanks to its aluminium chassis construction, which is designed to eliminate any outside interference in the most effective way.
In turn, the device features a four-channel potentiometer imported directly from Japan and perfectly integrated into the amplifier, so you can customise your listening experience.

Juan Manuel de Mier Fernández (verified owner) –
I bought the iHA-6 to drive some HD800s that I've bought again.
To amplify the HD800s that I previously owned, I've had the HDVA600, Auralic Taurus, Moon 430HA and Bryston BHA-1.
Well, I have to say that the Cayin has nothing to envy any of them, at a much lower price and even more so with Lyric's offer.
It is the type of product that casts a lot of doubt on the price of much more expensive ones.
Probably the best purchase I've ever made in this hobby and plenty have passed through my house...
