In our single-ended Class A amplifier, two 805A output valves deliver 2x 50 watts of power.

Classic WE6SN7 output triodes are used for the voltage amplifier stage of the Cayin CS-805A integrated amplifier. An exquisite 300B operates in the driver stage for the 805A output valves.

Three pairs of line inputs are complemented by an additional pair of pre-inputs for connecting an external preamplifier. The CS-805A can also be used as a power amplifier or integrated into home cinema systems with AV processors.

Users can easily configure the bias of the 805 valves using the integrated bias display. With the so-called hum balance controller, the user can also optimally adjust the level of the 300B valves from the outside.

Negative feedback values between 0 and -3 dB can be selected on the remote control to adapt the amplifier's sound character to your individual listening habits. At 0 dB, the Cayin CS-805A presents an open, fluid sound with plenty of detail, whilst at -3 dB the reproduction appears smooth, precise and controlled.

The soft-start circuit and the high-voltage delay to protect the amplifier work together to extend the life of the valves and sensitive components. Easily accessible high-voltage fuses are used to protect the amplifier. In the event of a tube failure, the fuse reacts immediately, thereby protecting the circuit structure, which is designed with the finest point-to-point wiring. Only high-quality components are used: including an Alps volume control, porcelain sockets, selected capacitors and carbon-film resistors with the highest audio quality. A large toroidal transformer guarantees a stable power supply even with high-pulse music. EI output transformers ensure optimum coupling with the speakers used with a wide bandwidth.

The Cayin CS-805A comes as standard with a remote control that saves the device's last operating state after it is switched off.
