ProAC Response DT8

Description

ProAc invests a great deal of time researching the choice of diaphragm material for its drive units because this is the most important component, as it transfers the movement of the cone into sound. Some materials excel at certain frequencies and therefore it would seem logical to use more than one type of drive unit material to cover all frequencies. Furthermore, all production parts, from the chassis to the magnet system, the spider and the voice coil, are meticulously selected.

The new Response DT8 now takes its place in the ProAc range as our entry-level floorstanding design. We believe that this innovative new speaker will create a new interest in mixing and matching drive unit cone materials to effectively cover all types of music.

• Crossover: Crossover specially designed to adapt to two different types of mid/bass cones. Fibreglass board featuring the finest components using multi-stranded copper wire designed for use with both bi-amplification and bi-wiring.
