The Z1 Plus features a robust aluminium alloy casing that provides effective protection against vibrations, dust and noise, ensuring superior sound quality in any environment. Its efficient fanless design keeps the CPU and system cool without fan noise and minimises electrical noise. Enhanced EMI absorption with higher permeability (>120 @1MHz) further reduces noise from the internal digital circuitry of components such as DRAM, the CPU, SSD, network interface and USB signals.

It features a state-of-the-art cooling system that incorporates graphene and a copper heat sink to dissipate heat from the CPU and SSD into the chassis. This innovative approach maintains a lower temperature, reduces internal noise and creates a spacious environment for optimal audio playback performance.

TCXO clock (25 MHz):
With two TCXOs for two Ethernet ports, there is no clock signal interference between them.
NVMe SSD:
high-performance, high-capacity and low-latency all-flash NVMe SSD storage solution. The Z1 Plus features specially selected SSD modules with an EMI absorber and a special power regulation circuit inside to isolate power noise from the SSD controller chip, making it an ideal storage solution for audio playback.
DDR4 RAM:
Specially selected low-power DDR4 modules, up to 32 GB depending on the model chosen.
Input power conditioning module:
High-frequency noise filter circuit for the power input, ensuring that a precise, low-noise signal with phase synchronisation is transmitted to the Z1 Plus.
Noise-reduction circuit for USB audio output:
With this high-frequency noise-filtering circuit for USB audio output, the Z1 Plus can reduce noise and distortion during USB audio playback.
Internal/external clock selector switch:
allows you to switch seamlessly between internal and external clock sources.
Reception of the external clock input:
It accepts an external clock signal from an external device, ensuring a single, high-precision clock that can be further updated. It features a gold-plated port and supports frequencies of 25 MHz.
USB ports:
The USB ports allow you to connect to external storage devices whenever necessary.
Ethernet ports:
The Z1 Plus has two Gigabit Ethernet ports, one for network connectivity and the other for an audio player.
