Pass Labs XP-17

Description

XP17 uses the new shielded low-noise toroid and input filter module, like the XP-12. The power supply features an additional RC filtering stage. We have lower radiated and mechanical noise.

The XP17 features a completely new input circuit that is balanced, with lower noise and distortion and higher handling capacity. Noise is the most prominent part of THD+N in the first section of a phono stage. By reducing noise we achieve better resolution and dynamics.

Designed with a split EQ network like the XP 25 and XS Phono which is more precise and can handle higher signal levels.

The secondary stage executes an upper bias output stage with automatic bias.

The numerous loading options of the XP-15 are still available, along with three gain settings to accommodate low-output MC to MM cartridges.
