Description
Cayin JAZZ 70 – EL34 valve integrated amplifier with Bluetooth
El Cayin JAZZ 70 combines the classical musicality of EL34 valves with handcrafted construction, two selectable operating modes and the convenience of a high-quality Bluetooth connection.
Your pre-stage uses three 12AU7/ECC82 valves, while the power section consists of four carefully matched EL34 tubes, operating in a Class AB1 push-pull configuration. The result is a warm, expressive, and nuanced reproduction, accompanied by good dynamic capability and remarkable loudspeaker control.
Two ways to enjoy music
The JAZZ 70 allows you to choose between two operating modes:
- Triode Mode: delivers 17 W + 17 W and offers a particularly smooth, intimate and refined presentation.
- Ultralinear Mode: It increases the power output to 35 W + 35 W, delivering greater dynamics, impact and control.
This feature allows you to tailor the amplifier’s sound to the type of music, the speakers used and your personal listening preferences.
Transformers designed for high-quality sound
Cayin equips the JAZZ 70 with a low stray magnetic field toroidal power transformer, specially manufactured for this model, and EI output transformers with a wide frequency response.
These components are essential for obtaining a stable power supply, a balanced tonal response and the natural character that distinguishes a good valve amplifier.
Bluetooth 5.1 with ESS DAC
The built-in Bluetooth input allows you to play music conveniently from a mobile phone, tablet or any compatible device.
The system incorporates a receiver Qualcomm QCC5125 and a digital-to-analogue converter ESS ES9018K2M, in addition to format compatibility LDAC, aptX HD, aptX LL, aptX, AAC, MP3 and SBC.
Thus, the JAZZ 70 maintains its traditional philosophy without sacrificing a practical, good-quality wireless source.
Handmade construction and classic aesthetics
The interior is handmade using point-to-point cabling, in keeping with the tradition of classic valve amplifiers.
Its two front indicators are not merely decorative: they allow you to make and monitor the bias adjustment of the power valves. During playback, the movement of the needles also adds that unmistakable visual appeal characteristic of traditional audio equipment.
The amplifier includes a dismantable metal cage to protect the valves, as well as a remote control.
Connectivity
The Cayin JAZZ 70 features:
- Three analogue line inputs: LINE 1, LINE 2 and LINE 3.
- Bluetooth 5.1 input.
- 4 and 8 ohm speaker outputs.
- Headphone output compatible with impedances from 16 to 300 ohms.
- Remote control included.
El Cayin JAZZ 70 it is an excellent choice for those looking for the tonal beauty of EL34s, traditional construction, and the ability to switch between the delicacy of Triode mode and the greater authority of Ultralinear mode. A musical and versatile amplifier, designed for listening with both loudspeakers and headphones.
